The absurd-sounding lyrics were written by Brussels-based Two Man Sound musician Yvan Lacomblez, who worked for the complaints department at the Association des Pharmaciens Belge as a sideline.
Lacomblez took inspiration for the lyrics from patients’ incoming complaints about the side effects of their medication and turned them into a quirky, stylised selection.
The dynamic arrangement for concert band, fanfare and brass band is written by Johny Ocean.
