Description:
'La Traviata' tells the story of the young and beautiful courtesan Violetta who falls in love with Alfredo, an ordinary and poor young man. She leaves her luxurious live for him and finally offers her love for the sake of the future of Alfredo's family.
'Addio del passato' (Farewell past) is a beautiful aria sung by Violetta in the last act of the opera: Violetta is now poor and about to die and sings a farewell to her happiness with Alfred.
