Description:
Asche by Mark Andre is a 16-minute work for five instruments (bass flute, bass clarinet, viola, violoncello and piano). In this composition, temporally defined elements that wander quasi freely are perceived by the listener. Material and form are fragmented to open up other, unexpected compositional and affective spaces. The premiere took place on 23 November 2004 in Copenhagen with the Ensemble Alternance. This edition (EP 12479) is the performing score of this work.
