Description:
Experience Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky's moving 'Autumn Song' in a masterly arrangement by the renowned Japanese composer Toru Takemitsu. Originally composed for solo piano as part of Tchaikovsky's famous cycle 'The Seasons', this sensitive setting for clarinet and string quartet (2 violins, viola, and cello) unfolds a captivating new depth of sound. Takemitsu seamlessly blends Tchaikovsky's bittersweet, melancholic Romanticism with his own signature sense of transparent timbres and intimate chamber music expression. Published by Schott Music, this edition provides the full score and complete set of parts as a convenient instant download—an exceptional addition to any chamber ensemble's repertoire and a guaranteed highlight for evocative concert programmes.
