Description:
In fliessenden Räumen (In Flowing Spaces) was composed in 2026 on commission from Camerata Variabile and is dedicated to its artistic director, Helena Winkelman. The quartet conceives sound as something permeable and mutable. It unfolds in three scenes in which sounds overlap, merge, and dissolve again. Noisy and shimmering sound surfaces, multiphonics, and overtone textures create spaces defined less by fixed contours than by motion, density, and permeability.
