Tremolo, downstrokes and alternate strokes, various ornaments and strumming techniques, as well as harmonics are used. The guitars mostly play the rhythmic bass line, chords or chord breakdowns or a simple second voice.
I was inspired by experiences in the south of Morocco, an accompanying text for each piece helps to interpret it in the intended atmosphere. Rhythm instruments, e.g. a darabuka, reinforce the oriental character. (Manuela Frescura)
