Description:
Mi Tierra Linda (My Beautiful Land) is a lively son paying tribute to this beautiful style of music and the country of its roots. Written in the style of the son jalisciense, this piece with optional vocals is characterized by a lively tempo, sharp trumpet articulations, syncopation, and the feeling of alternation between 6/8 and 3/4 time. A swung feel ends the piece, representative of the style. The son jalisciense is the ultimate expression of joy in Mariachi music!
