This rediscovered mass ideally meets the current need of many choirs for works scored for small voices that can be expanded flexibly: Johann Anton Kobrich, whom we have already introduced with two solo masses, wrote this Ordinary for soprano and tenor (choral and solo), violin and organ, while alto and bass (again choral and solo), violin 2 and a cello can be added ad libitum. This short, sonorous Ordinary can thus be performed frequently in different constellations depending on the available "personnel". During his lifetime, Kobrich's church music works were widely distributed in print throughout Central Europe, to which not only the frequently practiced flexible scoring but also their mostly easy performability, catchy melodies and uncomplicated harmonies contributed. Parameters which are also clearly evident in this cheerful, festive Missa brevis!
With Credo.

The score is copy-protected for single copies. This is only removed if the choral score is purchased at the same time as the orchestral material.
