Description:
This mass is the three-part version of the 'Missa in F' composed for the Diocesan Church Music Day of the Diocese of Speyer by the Düsseldorf composer and music director ACV Klaus Wallrath (publication no. BU 2930). The work is characterized by wonderful melodic lines with a catchy character, distinctive harmony in the 'romantic style' and masterful compositional technique, which does not, however, entail any increase in technical difficulty. Numerous unison and canonic passages as well as motif relationships between the movements significantly reduce the rehearsal time. The mass can be performed with organ only or additionally with four wind instruments and timpani and is suitable as a festive mass as well as for 'ordinary' performances during the church year. The three- and four-part versions are compatible. With Credo.
