My transcription of the Intermezzo from Much Ado About Nothing for piano quintet remains very faithful to Korngold’s original, omitting as little as possible from the orchestral version, though inevitably reassigning certain parts to different instruments. I think it works particularly beautifully as an encore to a piano quintet programme, especially if that programme includes Korngold’s own masterly Quintet for 2 violins, viola, violoncello and piano op. 15! - Tom Poster
