Description:
Genesis tells us that God punishes sinful mankind with the Flood. Only Noah finds mercy before God and is saved from the floods.
This interfaith musical combines the well-known biblical text of the Genesis account, perspectives from other religions, scientific findings, critical questions about the events with a lively plot and rousing music.
The aim is to show performers and listeners that there are different realities and approaches to the story of the Flood and that it is ultimately important to view the stories with a critical awareness without having to give up one's faith.
This musical gives children - based on the biblical account - a view of the Flood story that goes beyond the usual "terrible story with a happy ending". In addition to the Moses story, children learn to approach the story from different perspectives and with corresponding questions.
