In addition to works for clarinet solo, viola solo, violoncello solo, piano solo, and string quartet, the composer has now added a work for the classical piano trio. Composed for the SHCMMS International Chamber Music Competition, Scent Dance V demands rhythmic precision and exact ensemble playing. The music slowly builds from sporadically placed notes to an ecstatic, furious finale.
