Description:
Johann Sebastian Bach's magnificent cantata "Sie werden aus Saba alle kommen" BWV 65 is one of the most radiant masterpieces for the Feast of the Epiphany. The work captivates with its exceptionally rich and festive scoring: alongside vocal soloists (tenor, bass) and a four-part mixed choir (SATB), two horns (corni da caccia), two recorders, two oboes da caccia, strings, and organ create an unmistakable, majestic sound world. The celebratory opening chorus vividly portrays the procession of the Magi bearing gold and incense. This high-quality study score from Carus-Verlag provides conductors, students, and Bach enthusiasts with the perfect foundation for score study, musical analysis, and rehearsal preparation. An essential gem of sacred music for the Epiphany and Christmas season.
