Description:
The original version of Franz Schubert's serenade was composed for alto solo, male choir and piano.
This arrangement by Düsseldorf university professor and composer Torsten Laux is conceived for a different instrumentation, which allows for an expanded sound spectrum. Schubert's relatively simple conception is complemented by rich colorfulness and is given a completely new appeal by the instruments now playing along.
A piece that will inspire listeners in concerts and make the fascination of "Schubert" come alive in a new way.
Stitched edition.
