Description:
The most frequently performed part of the Baudelaire cycle by Vladimir Genin, Les Fleurs du Mal, is composed on the poet's most famous verses - L'invitation au voyage. The atmosphere of this poem, at once dreamy and sensual, at times almost erotic, is transformed here into an almost modern song in which light and shadow interweave with the rhythms and twists of the tango, interspersed with echoes of the blues. It is an invitation not only to a journey, but also to a shared experience of beauty, pleasure and intimacy.
