Description:
The "Miracle" is a Christmas oratorio with the familiar classical parts, but in a popular musical style. It is suitable for both staged and concert performances. The solo roles are designed so that they can be mastered by advanced young people. It is desirable, but not absolutely necessary, to distinguish between male and female voices in the solo parts. If the constellation of the cast makes it seem necessary, the mostly male roles could also be performed by female voices for pedagogical reasons. The level of difficulty of the band is not easy, but can be mastered mainly by very good pupils. The strings are deliberately notated on two staves. This allows them to be played on a second keyboard. If original string instruments are used, choral scoring is recommended. This part can be played by any school orchestra.
