Description:
With "Treatise," the esteemed Edition Peters presents one of the most fascinating and influential masterpieces of the musical avant-garde. This monumental graphic score opens up entirely new horizons of musical expression for ensembles, inviting musicians to transcend traditional notation and immerse themselves in the world of creative sound exploration. The intricately designed pages are both visual poetry and a sonic challenge: they encourage performers to define their own musical rules, listen deeply to one another, and collectively develop an unmistakable, intuitive sonic language. Whether for contemporary music ensembles, experimental collectives, or visionary chamber groups, this high-quality sheet music edition from Edition Peters is far more than a score—it is an inspiring canvas for true musical freedom and timeless innovation. An essential piece for any forward-thinking ensemble.
