Eberhard Arning

Unser Vater - Set

A cantata with the following structure: three voices, two accompanying treble instruments (in this case trumpets) and a piano. The chorale verses are interpreted and deepened by Bible verses and performed by a narrator.
This makes this cantata ideal for the arrangement of a church service. It can be used flexibly and performed in parts at different points in the service. The familiar melody on which it is based makes this work recognizable to all churchgoers, while Arning's various movements make the text impressively clear.
