Songbook Deluxe

Suitable for children ages 3 and up; ideal for piano, glockenspiel, xylophone, and mallet instruments.

Children love music from birth, and many develop a desire to learn an instrument as early as toddlerhood. It’s important to have age-appropriate sheet music, because children can’t make sense of the notation used for adults. The "All Colors of Music" series uses pictures and colors to introduce children to the world of music. The "Songbook Deluxe" omits additional text and features oversized song notation.

Why are the musical notation symbols so large?
Large numbers and pictures are used for children because their vision, motor skills, and cognitive processing are still developing, and they need visual cues to help them understand the abstract world. Simply map the color palette to piano keys or xylophone bars, and you’re ready to go! You and your kids will experience the success of this method.
