The purpose of this work is to facilitate the assimilation of the elements that allow to use with ease the Musical Language as a means of expression.
Whether to interpret, improvise or compose, it is essential to develop a solid aural ability (melody and harmony) and rhythmic, and enhance their own creativity. Thus, the 15 lessons in this book are divided into 5 sections: Rhythm and Rhythmic Reading, Note Reading, Intonation, Activities and Homework, as well as including basic notions of Music Theory.
Also, the student is proposed a series of melodic transcriptions in various musical styles as dictation. In the booklet attached to the book the solutions to the activities and transcriptions are given.
Creative Musical Language - Book 1 is the first of a series of four volumes that make up the complete work. The didactic method that is put into practice responds to the model that for years has been developed with excellent results at the Escuela de Música Creativa, to whose teaching staff the authors of the book belong.
Both the exercises that appear in the activities section and the transcriptions are recorded on the accompanying CD, which also allows for self-study. span.
