Description:
Learning and practicing scales is one of the most fundamental building blocks of instrumental instruction. They are especially important when preparing for the JMLA proficiency badges. Practicing becomes more interesting, however, when you can practice along with a musical background—the play-alongs. These are now available on Hummel-Music’s new Spotify channel. Also available are basic warm-up exercises such as lip and slur exercises and high-note training. Since playing along with play-alongs requires some experience, they are available in different tempos. To make it easier for transposing instruments to convert from the sounding key, the circle of fifths and a conversion chart (sounding key to transposed key) are included in the booklet.
