This is the thirteenth of a total of fourteen symphonic dances. It was inspired by two traditional Argentine dances, the Escondido and the Bailecito. The Escondido is originally from the north of the country and its popularity extends as far as Bolivia, while the Bailecito originated in the northern regions of Argentina.
