B-A-C-H - a musical about the life of perhaps the "greatest musician of all time" Johann Sebastian Bach: key stages of Bach's life are presented on two levels, with modern pupils and their teacher engaging in a stimulating dialog about the life and work of the great master of Baroque music on one level, while the individual episodes from Bach's life are performed on the main stage with all the performers and the choir in between. Two large singing roles - Bach as an adult and Bach as a child - are to be cast, otherwise there are many small speaking roles, a lot to be played and sung in unison in the choir, the optimal instrumental instrumentation consists of strings and harpsichord, but can also be reduced to accompaniment with piano only.
