Description:
Bring the magic of a traditional Alpine Christmas to your church service or concert with the "Wössener Weihnachtsmesse" (Edition A), published by the renowned Max Hieber Musikverlag. This touching mass draws its evocative musical power from historical melodies found in the famous 1768 songbook of the "Mesnerbauer". Written for mixed choir (SATB) and instrumental ensemble, the work unfolds a festive warmth and authentic devotional spirit. This set of parts contains the complete instrumental material scored for two clarinets in B-flat, two violins, viola, and cello/double bass (can also be performed alternatively with organ). A magnificent and atmospheric addition to any sacred or festive Christmas repertoire that will delight performers and audiences alike.
