Description:
An 18-minute long concerto for four solo horns and orchestra commissioned by the late James Emerson (Emerson Horn Editions), and first performed with the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra in Golden, Colorado, USA in March, 1992, the concerto is in three movement and includes, in the final movement, two short cadenzas, one for low horn and one for all four soloists. UK Grade 8+ / Diploma (solo horns), UK Gtrade 8-8+ (orchestral parts), this piece is a very useful and unusual additon to any orchestra's repertoire.
