Description:
A few years ago, when I first heard a series of works by female composers of the Romantic period, I decided to perform music composed exclusively by women in at least one concert per year with my 'orchestra project'. Quite a few pieces were then - not surprisingly - Austrian premieres.
In the course of my research, the song collection of the Furore publishing house 'Inspired by Goethe' (fue 6300) quickly made me wish for a chamber orchestra accompaniment of several songs. Their compositional quality as well as the tonal richness of the piano accompaniments resulted - without interfering with the original composition itself - in varied instrumentations adapted to the respective song and its lyricism.
