Description:
Horák's Pastoral Mass is not only the most beautiful mass by the Prague master, but is also one of the most frequently performed Christmas masses in the entire German-speaking world until well into the 20th century. The mass is of great beauty of sound and the musical arrangement closely follows the respective text. The choral writing is predominantly homophonic and easy to sing, and the orchestra has no technical hurdles to overcome. A separate organ score has also been created, which allows the work to be performed without an orchestra and can also be used as a piano score for choir rehearsals. With Credo.
The score is copy-protected for individual performances. This is only removed if the choral score is purchased at the same time as the orchestral material.
