Description:
Gerhard Maasz studied composition with Paul Graener and sympathized with the youth music movement around Fritz Jöde. In the 'kleine Instrumentenschau' created in 1977 he uses the popular folk song 'Wir sind die Musikanten' (which can be joined in by a one-part chorus) introducing systematically the individual orchestral ins-tru-ments. A work for children's and school concerts allowing the players and listeners an insight into the structure of an orchestra in a cheerful way.
