It was immediately clear to me that my work would be dedicated to Eino Tamberg, as he had a more personal influence on me at the beginning of my career than almost anyone else. I go back to my first memory of him: as a third grader, I sang in my school choir at his anniversary concert.
It was a little children's choir song, with a bit of propaganda flavor, an unimportant little thing, not even listed in his list of works. But this little melody was stuck in my head like a catchy tune and wanted to return to the same stage, now in a lavish orchestral dress and, of course, in a further transformed form. Moreover, the title is almost ambiguous: Eino Tamberg was one of the sunniest people I have ever met.
