Description:
All stressed out? You need Chill Power! This eclectic work for string orchestra, with optional piano, drum set, and claves, is perfect for directors who want students to explore improvisation in a Latin style through a fun piece idiomatically written for strings. Chill Power uses the 2-3 son clave and Aeolian modal harmonies as the foundation for a catchy tune and chords to solo over. The piece provides written sample solos for each instrument, as well as improvisation guides to get your students soloing confidently.
