Concerto for Metronome

This unique piece gives students the opportunity to work with a world-renowned musical icon - the metronome! As they "accompany" the steady beat of their mechanical guest, students will get to work on counting beats, subdividing, and bowing technique. And of course, they'll learn how to use a metronome and incorporate it into home practice. The score includes an announcement that can be read at a concert to introduce the esteemed guest soloist. This is a really fun piece that will reinforce great musical habits.
