Cuerdas del Corazón

Cuerdas del Corazón (Heart Strings) by Nubia Jaime-Donjuan invites performers to play from the heart, blending the elegance of danzón with the structure of sonata form. After a reflective opening, the music ignites into a fiery 2/2 section driven by arpeggios, quarter-note triplets, and syncopation. Though largely in first position, its exhilarating tempo makes it an exciting showcase of passion and precision for advancing players.
