Eleventh Hour

Eleventh Hour captures the frantic energy of a ticking clock and the pressure of an impending deadline or disaster! Alternating 8th note rhythms create immediate urgency, while moments of dissonance build gripping tension. Written in E minor, while cleverly avoiding C natural, the harmonic language heightens the sense of unease as sharp accents drive the music forward in a race against time. This electrifying work is a thrilling and dramatic choice for early ensembles.
