Description:
In Greek mythology, Hyperion was a mighty Titan, one of the four pillars of the cosmos, known for fathering the heavenly lights: Helios (Sun), Selene (Moon), and Eos (Dawn). Using some shifting in Violin 1 and Cello, this powerful theme in A minor builds over energetic rhythms in the low strings, including scalar ascending passages that climb and soar to the heavens where light dawns and spreads across the universe.
