Description:
Im Streiflicht (in raking light) is a single-movement work that unfolds within a field of tension between continuity and interruption. Shifting sound planes form a constantly changing texture in which stillness and motion are continually rebalanced. Virtuosic episodes and solo passages lead into an increasingly condensed final section. The work explores the perception of after-sounds – sounds that overlap, resonate onward, and become newly audible in the shifting light of the moment.
