This original work is a tribute to the life of Monsignor Hugh O'Flaherty who played a significant role in saving the lives of Jews and Allied prisoners during World War II. Due to his ability to out-fox frequent traps laid by the Nazis, O'Flaherty was nicknamed the Scarlet Pimpernel of the Vatican.
