Description:
With this energetic work, Jirka Kadlec takes up one of the most famous themes in the classical repertoire: Niccolò Paganini's famous Capriccio No. 24. While retaining the virtuosity and striking character of the original motif, the composer presents a decidedly contemporary new version with clear pop influences. Rousing rhythms, modern harmonies and strong contrasts give this legendary theme a new freshness. This bold transformation builds a bridge between tradition and modernity and makes the work immediately accessible without denying its heritage. An original, dynamic homage for today's audience.
