Bring festive splendor to your concert program with the historic "Passauer Weihnachtssinfonie" (Passau Christmas Symphony) from 1774. Published by Thomi-Berg Musikverlag, this delightful piece enchants musicians and audiences alike with its festive warmth and celebratory character.
The composition offers outstanding musical flexibility: it can be performed intimately with string orchestra and basso continuo or expanded into a magnificent holiday centerpiece with the addition of festive trumpets and timpani.
This complete orchestra set of parts includes the wind section (Harmonie) as well as a well-balanced string distribution (3-3-2-2-1), accompanied by a practical Violin 3 part (as an alternative to viola). A wonderful addition to any advent and Christmas repertoire!
