Description:
This symphony is one of five sinfonias written by this composer. The original instrumentation called for a pair of flutes, oboes and horns. The flute and oboes generally double the violin parts while the horns are independent of the other instruments. The texture is homophonic, similar in style to that of Vivaldi and Telemann in many of their concerted orchestral works.
