A Peaceful World (Das die Erde, Friedvoll werde)

The longing for peace is as old as humanity itself, and unfortunately more relevant today than ever. This heartfelt pop ballad underscores this desire through its lyrics and music. In this arrangement, many additional parts—such as guitars, piano, and vocals—complement the vocal parts, giving the ballad a very rock-inspired sound. It’s sure to be a highlight for any concert that includes a few contemplative and reflective moments.

Included in the vocal parts:
3 parts Accordion 1
3 parts Accordion 2
3 parts Accordion 3
3 parts Easy
1 part Vocal (Chorus)
1- times piano
1 time guitar (chords & picking)
1 time strings
2 times accompaniment
2 times bass
1 time timpani
1 time drums

Lyrics & Music: Gottfried Hummel 2025 Edition Hummel Ton

May the earth become peaceful
Yes, I have this dream
Without wars, hatred, and terror
Peace for you and me.

1. When I look out at the world, I’m horrified
By all these wars, without rhyme or reason.
I can’t understand it—how can this be?
How can people be so inhumane,
As cold as an iceberg.

2. Your own life is important—of course!
To master it, you need strength—that’s clear.
To honor others with respect and humanity—
It’s still possible—try it, be ready!
Come on! Open your hearts wide!
