Description:
Barafostus' Dreame is written for the quarter-tone accordion as developed by accordionist Lore Amenabar Larrañaga. This instrument has 24-tone equal temperament in both manuals, with 16-foot, 8-foot, and 4-foot registers in the left hand, and 16-foot, 8-foot (with cassotto), and 4-foot registers in the right hand. Barafostus' Dreame draws on the anonymous keyboard work of the same name in the Fitzwilliam Virginal Book.
