The composer has dedicated it as a token of gratitude to the DHV and the Hohner Conservatory in Trossingen, with which he has close ties.

Dear accordion enthusiasts,
The German Harmonika Association (DHV) and the Hohner Conservatory in Trossingen are inextricably linked to my career in accordion music. The DHV and its then-president, Arnold Kutzli, supported me greatly as a young composer and always featured my compositions in "Harmonika international," the world’s largest specialist magazine for the accordion; my time studying at "HoKoTro" certainly ranks among the most wonderful chapters of my life. That is why I have taken the liberty of dedicating this new piece of mine to the Year of the Accordion 2026—a musette waltz (undoubtedly one of the most popular genres for the accordion)—as a way of expressing my gratitude through music. It was certainly a good decision to put the accordion in the spotlight for once—that’s where it belongs!
