Never Never? ...I've never heard of it! That was my first reaction when my students asked if they could play this song—but after just the first few notes, it all clicked! Of course, as an accordionist and radio listener, I know the song—it starts with one of the most famous accordion sequences in pop music. After that, it was clear to me that I wanted to arrange this piece.
It starts, of course, with the catchy main theme, which gradually builds in intensity as the other instruments join in, before it kicks off into a lively disco groove...An absolute earworm!
With an easy part and additional parts for piano, keyboard/Electronium 1 & 2, and timpani.
Ideal for student orchestras—but also for adult orchestras.
