Commissioned by the Office for International Relations in Nuremberg on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the partnership between Nuremberg and Nice. The world premiere with Theresa Holzmeier and Ivan Gotsa took place on October 20, 2014 in the Historic Town Hall, Nuremberg. The highly entertaining duo combines the well-known canon by Nuremberg composer Johann Pachelbel with the unofficial anthem of the city of Nice, "Nissa la Bella".
