Reinhard Mey

Hardly any other singer-songwriter influenced young composers trying their hand at writing and composing songs as much as Reinhard Mey. He knew better than anyone how to blend lyrics and music into a single, cohesive whole, churning out one hit after another. Whether political or humorous—Reinhard Mey always found the right words and those catchy melodies. This medley brings together four of his greatest hits! The funny "Der Mörder ist immer der Gärtner," the swinging "Annavelle, ach Annabelle," the quintessential farewell song "Gute Nacht, Freunde," and, of course, the famous "Über den Wolken." All arranged in the rhythm and sound of the times! Music to lift your spirits—guaranteed to have you humming along!
