Tritsch-Tratsch-Polka, Op. 214, is a polka in A major by Johann Strauss II, which he composed in 1858 following a successful tour of Russia. It was first performed on November 24, 1858, at a concert in Vienna. The title "Tritsch-Tratsch" refers to the Viennese love of gossip. The mood of the piece is lively and exuberant, like many of Strauss’s polkas.
