Ludwig van Beethoven’s March No. 1 in F major (WoO 18), known as the Yorck March or March of Yorck’s Corps (Army March II, 103; Army March II, 37; Army March II, 5), is one of the most famous German military marches. In 1813, the march was named in honor of the Prussian general Ludwig Yorck von Wartenburg. It is now available here in an arrangement for accordion orchestra.
The piano can be included as an optional accompaniment, adding a special touch to the sound.
