Description:
The poignant organ piece "Epitaph für Maksymilian Kolbe", published by the renowned Strube Verlag, is a deeply moving musical monument of extraordinary spiritual power. Dedicated to the memory of the canonized martyr Maximilian Kolbe, this composition unites profound sorrow with contemplative hope. Musically, the work builds a fascinating bridge to masterly Baroque polyphony: Inspired by the monumental "Ricercare a 6" from Johann Sebastian Bach's "Musical Offering", a dense and emotionally stirring tapestry of sound unfolds on the organ. This meticulously crafted sheet music edition offers discerning organists an expressive repertoire addition for memorial concerts, thematic church services, and solemn recitals. An essential work of contemporary organ literature that leaves a lasting impression on performers and audiences alike.
