Intro- und Outroludien 3

These 18 pieces are uncomplicated and ideally suited for practical use. Although they are easy to play, their tonal effect makes them ideal for opening or closing a church service. But the works are also suitable as interludes. The composer was able to realize a wide range of styles and genres and transform them into good-sounding music with a sure instinct. Behind the trendy title are 18 light, free organ pieces with recourse to traditional forms such as prelude, sonatina, fugette, cantilene on the one hand and experimental forms such as minor ludium, outsound and inducium on the other. The volume offers many possibilities for use in the course of a church year. (Kirchenmusik im Erzbistum Bamberg, 39/2005) "The composer writes briskly and easily, with catchy, sometimes swinging melodies." (Württ. Blätter, 2/2006)
