I wrote this piece in 2013 for a benefit concert that I played here in Magdeburg for the Albert Schweitzer Society. It is a reconstruction of a concert that Schweitzer himself had once played here, together with biographical material and this piece including texts. They are only small pieces, but in combination with the texts everything fits together harmoniously.
The music is intended to combine Schweitzer's experiences in Africa, his theological and philosophical reflections with my own experiences, my music and my faith.
